Summary

Raphael and Ashur, a demon, are exchanging blows while Goodwin and Sara try to load their ammunition from inside the parked bus they use as a base of operations. Raphael tries using guns on Ashur but it becomes clear that Ashur is impervious to gunshot wounds. Ashur ends up throwing sand into Raphael's face, catching him offguard. Ashur kicks him into a wall and piles of boulders fall onto him. Sara and Goodwin race outside the bus and Sara distracts Ashur while Goodwin tries to comfort Raphael. However, Raphael knows that this time he's not going to survive and he gives his sword to Goodwin, his squire. Try as though he might, Goodwin cannot revive Raphael. After sufficiently scaring Goodwin and Sara, Shur disappears into smoke right before their eyes. Goodwin and Sara discover that Raphael's body has also disappeared.

Ashur returns to his cave where Ellie, his demon lover, is waiting for him. She's standing over the body of Raphael. Ashur is pretty impressed with himself for capturing Raphael, but Ellie is not impressed since Ashur forgot to bring along Raphael's sword as well. The planetary convergence is close to alignment, a few hours at most, which is when Ashur and Ellie had planned to bring about their apocalypse. Ashue then shows Ellie a trick: he transforms a rat into the likeness of Raphael and Goodwin's friend Lester Dash.

In the caverns in another area, Ellie asks Ashur to tell her about the prophecy. The prophecy tells of the day when Ashur will aid in the ushering in of evil ways on the day of the planetary alignment when Ashur would take his place beside Satan. Ashur mentions what fun he's going to have with Satan, which leaves Ellie wondering where HER place will be when the apocalypse comes.

Meanwhile, Goodwin is unsure of what to do without Raphael. Sara isn't totally convinced that Raphael is dead, even though Goodwin tells her over and over again. Goodwin says he has to bury Raphael's body in the way of the Japanese, which isn't good because they don't even have Raphael's body to begin with. Goodwin feels as though he's failed Raphael, but he is determined to find Raphael's body. Goodwin and Sara are then surprised by the fake Lester Dash which Ashur created. Unaware that Lester is not the real Lester, Sara and Goodwin let him into their bus.

Ellie and Ashur are still in the caves, watching over Raphael who is apparently in a trance. Their plan is to kill him on a bad luck day, which will send him to hell where he'll be stuck forever and where the Master will have the chance to kill Raphael with his own sword. Ellie sends Ashur to get the sword, which really irritates Ashur because he feels he's been treated like a child. Ashur wants to screw with the Squire's mind, but Ellie points out that the Squire already thinks Raphael is dead, she doesn't see how much more they can screw with his mind. Ellie is convinced that Ashur will completely screw up the entire plan.

Lester tells Sara and Goodwin how the demons were celebrating the death of the Immortal. Lester reminds them that the planets align tonight, bringing forth the false apocalypse. Sara, Goodwin and Lester decide to try to stop the false apocalypse while tracking down Raphael's body. Unfortunately, as soon as they step outside their bus, they realize they've been transported by demons to the caves. They beging their trek deep into the caves where they're almost run over by a mining cart and tricked into feeling vertigo.

Ashur is awaiting the arrival of Goodwin (with Raphael's sword) and Sara. He heads off to give them their first surprise, leaving Ellie in charge to watch over Raphael. She awakens him from his trance and Raphael offers Ellie a different plan. He offers her to become more powerful than Ashur. Raphael realizes that Ellie had this planned all along, she snarls at him as her eyes ignite in her demon visage. He's right about her plan though, she had planned to kill Ashur and allow her beloved Vashista to kill Raphael. Raphael isn't as weak at Ellie had taught and he grabs her, forcing her to take her to Ashur.

Meanwhile, Sara and Goodwin have finally figured out why Ashur needs the sword, because Raphael isn't dead yet and he needs the sword to complete the prophecy. Suddenly Ashur surprises them, and they're caught in his trap. Lester tries to convince Goodwin to give u p the sword, but Goodwin gets angry and fires a shot at Goodwin, making him disappear into dust. Goodwin holds out Raphael's sword, trying to ward off Ashur and telling him that even if he dies doing it, he will return the sword to Raphael. Ashur taunts Goodwin and manages to hit him several times before Goodwin can even get close enough to hurt him. But even when the sword connects with Ashur, it doesn't harm him.

Ellie manages to escape from Raphael's clutches and rushes into the fray. Ellie tries to convince Goodwin that she can help make him stronger. Ellie turns on Ashur and tells him she's sick of being his lackey. Goodwin tries to fight off Ellie with the sword as well but he gets nowhere. Finally, the planets converge and Ashur attacks Ellie. She bites down hard on his arm as he tries to choke her. Ashur eventfully gains the upperhand and strangles Ellie to death. She may have been smarter than him, but he's always been stronger. ellie falls to the ground and is swallowed up by a swirling vortex of energy. Raphael appears and disposes of Ashur pretty quickly. Sara, Goodwin and Raphael the Immortal leave the mines behind. Goodwin and Sara are supremely happy to have Raphael back among the living.
